Bucs Skills Camp A Great Success

Skills Camp

The Chorley Buccaneers held their first 'Skills Camp' of 2019 on Saturday 9th February at their winter Brownedge home.
The event, organised by Bucs Director of Football Ian Nicolson, was open to rookies and veterans alike, both youth and adult, flag and contact, and was attended by about 80 players and coaches, the youngest 'ballers being 7 years old.
The day was a great success, every player got to take part in 10 different football positional skill clinics ran by the Bucs coaching staff, and the overall feedback from the players and spectators was hugely positive.
Coach Nicolson said 'This event shows what a great family club we have here at the Bucs. We had U12 players working alongside U17, U19 and adult players, male and female, all doing the same drills. It was fabulous to be involved with, lots of fun combined with a great learning experience for every player, and the coaches too.'
If you want to come down and be part of a brilliant family club focusing on developing skills allied with having fun and showing respect, then get in touch. Male or female, aged 7 to 70, we would be glad to see you.
